Do you have a Membership programme?

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. We sell gift cards in any denomination you wish. These can be purchased in person or over the phone with collection at our box office in venue. They can also be purchased online for home delivery on our online shop.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes, we take credit and debit cards online and in venue across all of our ticket and concessions points.
Are seats allocated?
No. We don't allocate seats for any films. However, all event cinema screenings are allocated seating.
In line with our new procedures in pandemic times, seats are allocated for all films to ensure social distancing in screen, and a safe and secure viewing experience for all customers. Please find more information on our Covid 19 policies in venue here.
What is your returns policy?
Returns and exchanges are available on all bookings up to three hours before a screening. A refund or exchange will only be issued with a valid ticket or booking reference number. Customers who have purchased their ticket(s) in person must bring the ticket(s) to the cinema a minimum of 3 hours in advance of the screening to avail of the refund. Customers who have purchased their ticket(s) by phone or online can avail of a refund or exchange by contacting us via the phone (01 8728006) or via email (email@example.com). Customers will only be refunded by the method of payment at the time of initial booking.
Where can I collect my tickets?
Tickets can be collected in cinema at our ATMs in the lobby, or at any ticket and concessions point, using the booking reference number provided at time of booking or the credit/debit card used for the transaction. Valid Student ID cards are required at collection or entry point for those who have availed of the discounted student ticket price.

Where is the nearest ATM?
There are two ATMs located on Smithfield Square, one in Fresh Supermarket and one beside the Generator Hostel under the archways.
Are there any nice restaurants or pubs nearby?
There are many restaurants in the area of Smithfield Square including Bel Cibo, My Meat Wagon and Sparks, and bars including Oscars, Frank Ryan’s, the Cobblestone, and Delaney’s. We are also stone’s throw from Stoneybatter and Manor Street, which is a main thoroughfare of modern restaurants and bars, including The Belfry, Token, Glimmerman, Grano, and Stone.
What time do you open and close at?
Cinema doors, and our café, open daily 30 minutes before the first scheduled film.
Light House Bar opens from 5pm daily.
Closing time varies day to day and depends on the end time of the last film screening of the day.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we are! We have lift access to all levels of the building and designated wheelchair spaces available in each screen.
Do you have WiFi access?
Indeed, we do. We provide free WiFi in all public areas in the cinema. To connect, find LH-Public in the network settings of your device. The password changes from time to time, so please check with one of our staff members during your visit.
Café and Bar
Can I bring outside food and drink to the cinema?
No. We do not allow outside food and drink to be consumed in the cinema, but you can purchase a wide selection of food and drink at our bar and café.
Do you serve alcohol?
We do. Our café serves craft beer and wine, with a larger selection available in our bar downstairs. You can also bring alcohol purchased from our bar into the screens.
Can I buy sweets, drinks, ice-cream or popcorn?
Yes. We sell a full range of drinks, ice-creams and popcorn at our café, bar, and box office kiosk.
Is the bar open downstairs?
Yes! Our downstairs bar is open 7 days a week from 5pm daily. We have a range of beers, wines, draught beer and cider, and knowledgeable bar staff to help you make your choice.
Can I take coffee/beer/wine into the screen?
Yes. All bottled beers, ciders, and wines can all be taken into the screens, just ask at the bar for a plastic glass.
What is a Club movie?
Some films are not classified by IFCO, which means they don’t have an age cert. In order to watch these films at Light House, you must join our Club. Joining is simple – just provide us with your name and email address at the box office. All Club films are 18+.
What is a Parent and Baby screening?
Parent and Baby screenings take place twice a week at the cinema. These are special screenings for adults who wish to see the latest films on release and would like the option of bringing baby (typically under 18 months) along too. The lighting in the screen is kept slightly brighter than normal and the sound volume is reduced. Prams and buggies can be brought into the screen or left in a secure location outside the screen. All Parent & Baby screenings are rated 15A and below. Check out our Parent & Baby page for further detail.
