        Screenings

Why are some films rated 'Club'?

Some films are not classified by the classification office, which means they don’t have an age cert. In these cases, we give the film a Club rating. These screenings are available only to people over the age of 18. The content of the film is not necessarily reflective of an 18 rated film (i.e. extreme violence), but films that are unrated by the classification office cannot be shown to under 18s, so be sure to bring a form to ID to be a part of the club!

What is a Parent and Baby screening?

Parent and Baby screenings take place twice a week at the cinema on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. These are special screenings for adults who wish to see the latest films on release and would like the option of bringing baby (typically under 18 months) along too. The lighting in the screen is kept slightly brighter than normal and the sound volume is reduced. Prams and buggies can be brought into the screen or left in a secure location outside the screen. Checkout our Parent & Baby page for further detail.

Venue Rental / Exhibitions / Events

Can I rent space or a screen in the Light House Cinema for an event?
Yes for corporate or businesses events. You can find out more about the spaces available in the cinema on our Venue hire page.
