Cass is a waiter. Cass is a nanny. Cass is a drug dealer. And now, after a one-night stand skips town, Cass is forced into the role of guardian when their hookup abandons her young daughter in Cass’ care. As days pass, Cass tries their best to do things right – but the slow-burn pressures of gig work, unhealed trauma, and the growing hostility of San Francisco push Cass to a breaking point.

Asia Kate Dillon (John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum) shines in their breakout lead film role as an isolated trans person slowly spiralling without a support network, bringing a remarkable sensitivity to this story of unlikely connection and long-overdue catharsis.
