Terms & Conditions
Concessions priced tickets can be availed of by customers over 65 years of age, and students with a valid ID card.
Student ID cards which have no expiry date but have an issue date are valid for 4 years from date of issue. ID cards with no issue or expiry date will not be accepted.
Valid Student ID is required at both the collection desk and the screen entry point for those who have availed of student priced tickets.
Babies under the age of one year can attend screenings before 5pm provided that;
- They sit on a lap for the entire screening (i.e. do not take up a seat).
- Parents leave the auditorium should their child be causing a disturbance to other customers.
- The film is classified as G, PG ,12A or 15A.
Light House Cinema runs special Parent & Baby screenings every Wednesday and Saturday. We provide a place to store your pram or buggy, and we turn down the volume of the film and keep low lighting for baby’s comfort. More details on our Parent & Baby screenings can be found here.
You must have your ticket available for inspection at all times.
Please note that we hold no responsibility for any tickets secured via other sources.
Returns and exchanges are available on all bookings up to three hours before a screening.
A refund or exchange will only be issued with a valid ticket or booking reference number. Customers who have purchased their ticket(s) in person must bring the ticket(s) to the cinema a minimum of 3 hours in advance of the screening to avail of the refund.
Customers who have purchased their ticket(s) by phone or online can avail of a refund or exchange by contacting us via the phone (01 8728006) or via email (email@example.com).
Customers will only be refunded by the method of payment at the time of initial booking.
If a breakdown should occur during the screening of a film, a choice of another film will be offered if the time frame allows it or a complementary pass will be issued, cash refunds will not be given.
A refund will not be given if the movie is of personal dislike to you.
Those who are of disturbance to other patrons (including excessive talking, mobile phone use) in the cinema will be asked to leave without refund.
Those acting in an unruly fashion before entering the screens may be asked to leave the building or refused entry to the cinema screen.
Persons asked to leave the cinema due to unruly or abusive behaviour are not the responsibility of the cinema.
If a patron has been asked to leave the cinema on a previous occasion due to unruly or abusive behaviour, entry to the cinema on another occasion is not guaranteed.
We ask all patrons to act with due care while on the cinema premises.
Children must be accompanied by an adult (over 18) and be supervised at all times.
The use of e-cigarettes is prohibited in ALL interior areas of Light House Cinema.
Food and Drink
External food and drink will not be permitted onto the premises.
Hot food is not permitted in screen.
Film classification is law. You will be asked your date of birth if it is thought you are not the required age to see a film. It is at the staff member’s discretion to allow you to see the film if the staff member suspects you are not the required age. You may choose another film for the suitable age provided the staff member is treated amicably after refusal, otherwise you may be denied entry to the cinema.
Club means unclassified and therefore it is required that attendees are over 18 years of age. More information on Club films can be found on our FAQ page.
LIGHT HOUSE Membership Terms and Conditions
Please read and retain a copy of the below terms and conditions (the “T&Cs”) carefully as by registering to any of the membership schemes as set out in the Schedule hereto (each “the Membership Scheme” and collectively the “Membership Schemes”) of EP Lighthouse Limited (“Light House”), these apply to you (hereinafter “the Member” or “you”).
To become a Member, you must be eighteen (18) years or over.
The Membership Scheme is valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
Changes will take effect as soon as they are posted on the LIGHT HOUSE website or any LIGHT HOUSE social media except for price rises applicable to the Membership Schemes, which will only take effect at the time of the renewal of your Membership Scheme.
The LIGHT HOUSE Membership Schemes are subject to availability.
The fee for the Membership Scheme (“the Membership Fee”) is the amount in force at the time of joining the applicable LIGHT HOUSE Membership Scheme and is payable prior to issuance of a membership card (the “Membership Card”) by means of cash, debit or credit card. Alternative means of payment may be offered in future (e.g. Direct Debit). Someone else other than you may make payment provided that the payer is at least eighteen (18) years of age.
The Membership Fee may increase from year to year.
To become a member, you agree to apply either by providing your personal details to any of the LIGHT HOUSE membership team or by filling a form (e.g. online application or brochure).
Your application to become a member is an offer to join the applicable Light House Membership Scheme that will be accepted by taking payment of the Membership Fee, which will create a contract between you and LIGHT HOUSE (the “Membership Agreement”). LIGHT HOUSE reserves the right to decline your offer.
Membership Cards: As a member you will be issued with a Membership Card. Your Membership Card: a) is usable upon collection in venue or receipt of your Membership identification number (the “Membership ID”); b) is to be presented at each of your visits in LIGHT HOUSE cinema or your Membership ID is to be inserted on the LIGHT HOUSE website to redeem your benefits online.
LIGHT HOUSE is entitled to request proof of your age, identity and/or residence to confirm compliance with these T&Cs or to conform to law, regulation, court order or similar public authority;
Any free tickets that you receive as part of your Membership Scheme cannot be used for premium-price events (such as Event Cinema) or free-list-suspended films.
By signing up to Membership the Member consents to receiving regular marketing communications from the LIGHT HOUSE unless Member has opted out. The Member’s details will not be passed on to any third parties.
Membership is valid for 12 months only for the named holder and is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
One point will be earned for every €1 spent in cinema.
Points are earned on all purchases including ticket, cafe and bar purchases but redeemable on tickets only.
You can earn a maximum of 40 points per transaction.
How to Collect Points
To earn points when booking online, enter the 14 digit code on your card during the purchase process and the points will be automatically added to your account.
To earn points when booking at our box office or when buying food or drinks from the café, just present your card at the beginning of your transaction.
Points cannot be added after purchase.
LEGEND, SENIOR and STUDENT memberships are valid for a 12 month period from card validation.
Once these memberships have expired, LOYAL membership will apply and points will transfer.
Points may only be used for regular cinema tickets and not Event Cinema tickets.
Points may not be used to purchase from café, bar or shop.

Light House reserves the right to withdraw any offers with local and national partners from the Membership benefits.
To obtain a Student Membership, you must bring proof of status (ISIC or student photo ID card) to the cinema when purchasing or collecting your Membership card. Student ID cards which have no expiry date but have an issue date are valid for 4 years from date of issue. ID cards with no issue or expiry date will not be accepted.
To obtain a Senior Membership, you must bring proof of status with photo ID to the cinema when purchasing or collecting your Membership card.
Liability: a) Except where expressly provided, nothing in these T&Cs shall constitute a warranty or representation regarding any products and/or services provided by LIGHT HOUSE.
Where a Membership Card is defective, LIGHT HOUSE‘s liability is limited to the replacement of such defective Membership Card.
Where erroneous pricing information has been given to you and the error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised by you as erroneous, we will not be obliged to supply goods and services at the erroneous price.
LIGHT HOUSE shall not be liable to you for any special, indirect or consequential losses incurred by you in any way. Neither shall LIGHT HOUSE be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of its obligations under these T&Cs that are caused by events outside LIGHT HOUSE’S reasonable control.
b) LIGHT HOUSE total liability for all claims shall not exceed the amount of the Membership Fee.
c) Nothing shall be construed as to exclude or limit LIGHT HOUSE’S liability for death or personal injury caused by LIGHT HOUSE’S negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation committed by LIGHT HOUSE or its agents, or for any other liability which may not be excluded or limited by law.
LIGHT HOUSE shall be freely entitled to assign or transfer the benefit of this agreement to any third party or affiliated to the LIGHT HOUSE group.
Members Screenings have limited capacity and tickets are allocated on a first came first served basis.
Discounts on tickets apply to one ticket per performance for Legend, Senior and Student members and to 2 tickets per performance for Legend + 1, Senior + 1 and Student +1 members.
LIGHT HOUSE reserves the right to add or amend these T&Cs from time to time, at its own discretion.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Ireland and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
